The Brief

Business by day. Unforgettable by night.

KEV.CON — Kevin Murphy’s annual conference — needed to feel like the brand itself: creative, energetic and impossible to forget. For the September 2021 edition the team came to Marbella, and the brief was total delivery.

Protocol DMC was tasked with organising every aspect of the event from start to finish — hotel, AV, catering, décor, staffing, transport, restaurants and activities — so the brand could pour its energy into the show itself.

We made it all happen — efficiently, effectively and very successfully.

By day, KEV.CON ran as a polished production: The Big Show on the main stage, with full AV, staging and show-calling handled by Protocol’s on-site team. By night, Marbella did what Marbella does best.

The social programme became the stuff of company legend: “Summer Nights at Nikki Beach”, a 280-person dinner party on the sand that famously ended with the CEO in the pool; an awards night at the beach to celebrate the brand’s top performers; and a garden party to wind down before the flight home. Protocol staff were on site at every venue, from load-in to late night.
