Corporate events in Barcelona.

Europe’s congress capital on the Mediterranean.

Why Barcelona

Where Europe's biggest congresses meet the Mediterranean.

Barcelona hosts more major international congresses than almost any city in Europe. The Fira de Barcelona and the seafront CCIB give you exhibition and auditorium scale that few destinations can match, while El Prat airport puts delegates 20 minutes from the centre. Medical societies, tech launches and the Mobile World Congress return here year after year for a reason.

Then there is the city itself: Gaudí, the beach, three-Michelin-star tables and a walkable core. The evening programme does real networking work because people genuinely want to be here. After nearly thirty years across Spain and Portugal, we know which rooms photograph better than they perform — and which quietly deliver.

Good to Know

Frequently asked questions

What are the best venues for a large congress in Barcelona?

For 1,000-plus delegates, Fira de Barcelona (Gran Via or Montjuïc) and the CCIB on the seafront are the two benchmark congress venues. Fira wins on raw scale and exhibition space; the CCIB wins on a single-site auditorium, natural light and sea views. For headquarters hotels alongside the main venue, Hotel Arts and W Barcelona hold large groups on the beachfront.

Do international companies pay 0% Spanish VAT on Barcelona events?

Yes — for most foreign and intra-EU business clients, our event services are invoiced at 0% Spanish VAT under the standard reverse-charge rules for business-to-business services. On a six-figure event that is a five-figure saving, frequently more than a DMC's entire fee. We confirm the exact treatment for your company before contracting, so there are no surprises on the final invoice.

When is the best time of year for a corporate event in Barcelona?

April to June and September to October are ideal: warm, dry and reliable enough to commit to outdoor gala dinners and terrace receptions months ahead. July and August are hot and busy with tourism; winter is mild and well-priced for indoor conferences. Avoid clashing with Mobile World Congress in early spring, when hotel rates spike citywide.

How far in advance should we book a Barcelona event?

Six to nine months for large congresses and peak shoulder-season dates; eight to twelve weeks can work for smaller meetings and incentives. Barcelona availability moves faster than almost anywhere in Spain, so if your dates are fixed, start early — and talk to us even on short notice, as our supplier relationships open doors that public availability does not show.

Does your team work in English and other languages?

Yes. We work in English, Spanish, Catalan, German and French across every stage, from proposals to on-site coordination and supplier management, with further European languages on request. International delegates and your head office are looked after in their own language throughout the event.

Which destinations do you cover beyond Barcelona?

We operate across 20+ destinations in Spain and Portugal, including Madrid, Málaga, Seville, Valencia, Marbella and Mallorca, with one accountable team coordinating multi-city programmes. We scale from leadership offsites of 15–20 people to congresses of several thousand delegates, with a senior project manager leading every event regardless of size.
